Import/Export Members via CSV
Export Existing Members
This will give you a CSV template with all of the fields relevant to your members/membership plans
- In the Admin Panel, navigate to WooCommerce > Memberships
- At the top of the page click on the “Import/Export” tab.
- If needed, you can select specific plans, statuses and date ranges.
- Select “Include profile fields” if you have any. If unsure, select it anyway.
- It is rarely required, but you can also select “Include additional meta data” if needed.
Import New/Update Existing Memberships
- If you do not have a CSV template already, follow the steps under Export Existing Members. Alternatively download the sample attachment below.The sample attachment shows the main fields that need to be entered when adding new members.If you are replacing existing member details, user memberships can be match either by user membership ID, or by a combination of user ID, login name or email address and a membership plan ID or slug.
- Make sure all of the column titles are unaltered
- In the WordPress Admin Panel, navigate to WooCommerce > Memberships.
- At the top of the page click on the “Import/Export” tab.
- Select “Import from CSV”
- Browse to find your CSV file.
- If adding new memberships/users, select:
- “Create new user memberships if a matching user membership is not found”; and
- “Create a new user if no matching user is found”
- If required, select “Send new account notification emails when creating new users during an import”
- Click “Upload file and import”
