Find your Tracking ID and global site tag

UA Global Tag

• Sign in to your Analytics account.
• Click Admin.
• Select your account from the menu in the ACCOUNT column.
• Select your property from the menu in the PROPERTY column.
• Under PROPERTY, click Tracking Info > Tracking Code.

Your Tracking ID is displayed at the top of the page.

Your global site tag is displayed further down the page in a text box under Website Tracking > Global Site Tag (gtag.js)

GA4 Global Tag

Similar to the UA global tag you will want to be in the PROPERTY column to find the Global Tag to insert into your website header.

• Go to Data Streams
• Click on the relevant data stream for your website, for most accounts there will only be one. This will open a new menu that slides in from the right.
• Under Google Tag click on View tag instructions
• You can choose to let Google add the site code automatically or go to the Install manually tab to copy and paste the Google tag into your headers section on your website.
