Stripe Payment Gateway
Setting Up Stripe Account
Create the account with the email you intend to capture payments with. This will be the email that receives any incoming emails and invoices.
Connect a bank account to generate live account keys. Without a billing account attached, you will only be able to use test mode.
Setting Up WooCommerce Plugin
To begin setting up Stripe on a WooCommerce site, install and activate WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway.
Next, go to WooCommerce –> Settings –> Payments.
Here you will see many options for Stripe. The credit card option is the main choice for most websites and it should be the first Stripe option listed. Click on Finish Setup. This will take you to a ‘Get started with Stripe’ page. Here you can click on ‘Create or connect an account’, or enter the account keys manually.
The manual option is the best choice as you can use test keys or the live keys.
Once the keys and the webhook have been saved, you will be redirected back to the Stripe settings in the WordPress back-end.
To finish, add the website name to the Full Bank Statement field and click save changes.
