Shipping Options

Shipping Zone

Add a new Shipping Zone by navigating to WooCommerce => Settings => Shipping then click Add New Shipping Zone. Within the Shipping Zone you will be able to specify the regions you want to ship to by adding locations to the zone regions section. You can specify countries, states, towns & cities, and you can even limit the shipping zone to specific postcodes. When entering postcodes, you must enter one postcode per line, or you can utilise ‘…’ between two postcodes to get a range of postcodes.

Shipping Methods

By default, there are 3 Shipping methods, Local Pickup, Free Shipping and Flat Rate Shipping.

Free Shipping

Free shipping can be configured to show as an option if the cart has a coupon applied, the cart reaches a specified price, a combination of both or none of the above.

Flat Rate Shipping

Flat Rate Shipping can be set up with a single shipping cost or you can apply a different cost to individual shipping classes if you have them set up.

Local Pickup

Local pickup is a self-explanatory option, but it also has the benefit of charging tax based on the shop’s location regardless of where the customers address is.

Table Rate Shipping

Table Rate Shipping is a plugin that adds extra flexibility to the default options and can become as complex as you need for shipping to customers. For more information on setting up Table Rate Shipping, follow the link to a set up guide.
